We were so excited to officially introduce Aluminium Facade Systems, that we wanted to follow up with a question and answer session with our General Manager, Craig Penton, to address some of the questions we received about our new company.

Q: What makes Aluminium Facade Systems different from other companies?
A: Aluminium Facade Systems brings an innovative and solution based approach to the market by not only focusing on the supply of product, but rather differentiating ourselves by offering a turn key solution adding value to our customers. This involves working closely with our in house engineers and design team to deliver solutions to the market, whether it be custom designed profiles, fabrication and painting of material complemented with an overall system which can be incorporated with most curtain walls.

Q: Why should we take the risk on a new company?
A: We have a combined experience of over 30 years in the construction and facade industry, with experience in the fields of design, manufacturing, installation and supply. We have an established network in the facade industry of which we work closely with on a daily basis to deliver the Aluminium Facade Systems experience. We are a proud division within the Alspec Group, with over 46 years in the aluminium industry, the market is sure to experience the highest level of service and support.

Q: What can we expect from the ProClad™ FIXINGS, LINEAR, and SYSTEMS ranges?
A: ProClad™ FIXINGS gives the market a one stop shop experience along with custom fixings which can be designed and manufactured on our doorstep by our aluminium specialists and holding company Alspec.

ProClad™ LINEAR is a non-combustible intelligent interlocking aluminium system with 3 standard profiles in various sizes which can be powder coated and anodised to specification along with an industry leading powder coating technology to achieve a wood effect. The added benefit of our in-house design and engineering team allows our clients to achieve their desired outcome on any facade by entering into the custom design experience from concept to completion.

ProClad™ SYSTEMS is an overall fixing method of which Aluminium Facade Systems have developed to overcome industry challenges from the use of incorrect fixings and fabrication methods causing an undesirable outcome. Our SYSTEMS range is also designed to easily modify and integrate itself into the most complex curtain walls.

Q: What projects are your ProClad™ SOLID panels best suited for?
A: ProClad SOLID lends itself to new build and rectification projects with flexible fixing methods to achieve the engineered specification. The performance of the ProClad SOLID 3mm & 4mm Kynar 500 PVDF pre-finished continuous coil coating and wet spray technology with an industry leading warranty provides the market with the confidence in specifying and installing ProClad SOLID.

Q: What is your pricing and timeline like?
A: Aluminium Facade Systems provides the market with competitive pricing. Stock is held in Australia. Project orders have a lead time of 6-8 weeks for standard colours and sizes and 8-10 for custom sizes, colours and finishes. Contact us directly for details.

Q: Do you have any live projects or can I see your products in person?
A: Yes we do currently have live projects, which we will be sharing soon, and you are welcome to order samples of our product online. We can also deliver presentations to your team online or at your offices which is 1 CPD point accredited.
